It's been a busy semester, which is a good thing, but it means this doesn't get updated much. So here's some of my favorite sketches from the past few months. :D
Balmorhea- Baleen Morning
This was an assignment to study muscle structures and bones. If you look closely you can see the vertebrae beneath all the muscles.
hehe, thought of an idea for a gallery show that I'm pretty excited about. If I actually put the plan into motion I'll give some details, but for now all I really know for sure is that I want it to be called "let's pretend that..."

I'm trying something new that I've seen other artists do, a sketch blog. I'm not nearly as talented as the wonderful artist's whose blogs I watch, (Abigail Larson and Loish are my favs right now) but hopefully some day I will be, and I think it would be neat to watch me grow and learn. hehe.
